  • everything happened so fast, i could barely believe i was involve in it.  i dont know exactly what happen but heard their story.
    a story that i strongly believe in since its pretty obvious when i got out of the car and witness it myself.  before the incident i was just minding my
    own business, looking out the window and admiring the new scenery trying to get home.  then i realize bright lights were coming closer
    and closer coming from the right side and before i knew it, i saw bright lights flashing in my head then i fumble a bit to the left then to the right. 
    i didn't know exactly what happen then.  but turn out an old lady driving an toyota corolla ran thru a red light hit the car i was in causing us to hit
    the car to our left then she reverse back out of panic and hit two more cars behind her.  i still dont believe it had happen, my brain hasn't accepted the
    fact that people can be so careless, running thru a red light when on coming traffic was in effect.  why does our government issue driver license to 
    the elderly.  if kids cant drive, elderly shouldnt drive also.  i believe the age range should be 18-60 years old.  man this old lady look like shes in her
    80's.  and the fact she got out of the car and claims she had the green light on her side when the other 4 people who was involve all claims she ran a
    red light.  even the police was shock that it was a 5 car accident, even more shock that the old lady said she had the green.  like wtf.  even worse she 
    refused to give any of her information to us, and never admitted fault and had her son (who drives a jaguar) to pick her up. cause the cops wont let 
    her drive no more. 


    it's a good thing my friend car has side airbags, if not i wont know how bad my coworker would be, sitting on the passenger side.  since he got hit head on.
    a really good thing, non of us was seriously hurt including all the people that was involved, but just suffering from minor bruises and aches.

  • omg, i glad you are ok except a few minor bumps and bruises.  some areas where i live, they have a red light camera. do they have that in NY?

    i totally agree that they shouldn't issue driver's license to the ELDERLY.  they should get retested to see if they are fit to drive safely.

  • oh my.. 5 cars.. i kno kids & elders should be treated the same way - w/o a license.. they r both not in the right mind to drive. but 60 is still kinda alright..probably more like 65-70 range.

  • Hi cookie. I am sorry to hear that! I know your feeling...drivers here are as bad too. And I also too seriously think their should be a driving age standard....70 AND UP SHOULD NOT DRIVE FOR THE SAKE OF OTHER DRIVERS. I'm glad to hear you're okay though. =)

  • omg.  geez!  What is wrong w/ppl now a days?!?!?  How dare she claim she was not at fault?  So no one got her information?  That's not right. The cops should have forced her to give her info incase ppl want to file claims.

LAW SUIT~!!!! u can sue her... didnt u tell me that u and ur friend are having really bad back pains and u think u probably have to go to a chiropractor?? yeah sue that old lady... yeah ppl always say to give the elderly respect and blah blah blah... well.. shes aint the one that's right... and hell... her son drives a jaguar~!!!! SUE~!!!!!!!
