  • i found this old entry i wrote in my old art book about my friend who
died, well not literally but emotionally.  since it's been so long
    i doubt he mind.

    and it goes ...

"i know this kid in a
relationship with his girl for a year and so months.  she would
remind him occasionally that their relationship will not last.  in
his mind he knew it was true, but every moment of it he denies that
fact and loves her til the very end.  his love will always be with
her as long she is willing to accept it or not accept it.  but
with all his might and love, he sees the dying truth.  and with
that it hurts him so.  as long shes with him, he is happy.
but in time, he learns to admit to himself that her love is fading,
clues and hints where floating everywhere.  she would spend less
and less time with him and more with her friends, especially with her
best friend.  he once told me, that her best friend invited his girl to
be his date to his company's christmas party and right after the party
they sat in his parked car and talk over a hour.  with that alone,
"this relationship will not last" lingers more and more in his
head.  so he been thinking for awhile about her, the relationship
and so of.  in his bewilder mind he realize that her smiles were
fading ones.  the edges of her smile were crooked down.
finally christmas came, and he said his girl invited him to her house
for dinner.  during that time, she had a call from one of her
friends, asked her to hang out, and she responded to them with a no,
but with a sad no.  the kinda no that she wants to go but
cant.  and with that answer he saw her crooked down smile and knew
she didnt want to be here.  so he left her place with no reason of
any sorts,  he knew it was time, the day that "this relationship
will not last" will no longer lingers in his head, cause the day has
finally arrive.  later on the night, she went to hang out with her
friends.  she finally called him crying and said to him, that she
wants a break up.  of course he didnt try to persuade her not
to.  he let her go cause in his heart he knew she be happier that
way even though it killed him emotionally. "
